SFPD Officer Gregory Hui arrested on felony, misdemeanor charges
The San Francisco Police Department’s Media Relations unit just issued a statement concerning the arrest of Officer Gregory Hui. Hui, who has been with the department since 2003, was suspended without pay on December 17, 2010, following a misconduct investigation by the Internal Affairs Division.
The officer surrendered himself into custody today after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Hui has been booked on two felony charges for fraudulent use of a vehicle registration, as well as a misdemeanor charge for theft under the color of authority.
